On mobile, RELICS opens in Carousel mode and cycles through Float, Static and Carousel. On desktop it opens in Float and cycles through Static, Carousel and Float. Hover, focus or tap an object to highlight it. In desktop Carousel, hover highlights while motion continues; click to pause. Click again, click empty space or scroll to resume. On mobile, tap it again or tap empty space to release it.

A collection of cultural objects. On desktop, the centered oval carousel moves forward automatically. Objects sharpen across the front and dissolve into the rear. Wheel and trackpad direction is reversed from the earlier version; scroll to interrupt and settle on a product. Hover, click or keyboard-focus a visible side product to sharpen it and reveal its description. The carousel gently settles on a product when scrolling stops. When the collection has keyboard focus, use the arrow keys or Page Up and Page Down. On a small screen, the infinite carousel moves slowly downward. Swipe vertically to control it; release to settle on a product. Autoplay shows Fragments of the past. Tap an object or swipe to a stop to reveal its description. Tap it again, tap empty space or swipe to resume. Float objects can be held and dragged on desktop or mobile; descriptions hide during a drag. Float keeps its current selection until you choose Refresh to bring in a new set. Static includes every object and scrolls normally in three columns on phones. In Static, choose Randomize to reshuffle the collection, Color to arrange it by color, or A-Z to arrange it alphabetically. Press it again to reverse to Z-A; the label follows the current direction and keeps alternating. These controls are at the top right. Reduced motion shows a still, scrollable collection.
